54 Flowers
“54 Flowers” is a project I completed in my final semester at University, exploring botanical illustration through a series of playing card decks. Each deck focuses on a different group of flowers; romantic, tropical, wild and deadly.
The cards were produced using a combination of risograph and screen printing, allowing me to experiment with colour, layering and texture. This process played an important role in shaping the final outcome, giving each deck a tactile and handcrafted quality.
The project reflects my interest in blending both illustration and informative content. “54 Flowers” combines my love for floral imagery with my love for printmaking, resulting in a collection of cards that is both playful and informative.
